Year 2018 marked the completion of the “Mother & Child” programme the objective of which was to ensure free access to healthcare for pregnant women, young mothers and newborns.

As of its start in 2016 and until its completion in May 2018, the programme exceeded by far all expectations and targets that had been set, as Doctors of the World managed to care for thousands of women and children and mitigate motherhood issues.

Doctors of the World continue to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services through its open polyclinics. In addition to medical care, the organization provides baby kits and practical support to mothers-victims of violence, through family planning programmes.
